It is a lot going on regarding Service at School in terms of visits, projects and campaigns.

Although the support and collaboration to other institutions  is crucial, the transmission of values that leads us to see others, help other, empathize with others, respect others, and care about others is one of our cornerstone.

In the School we live and transmit  it as part of our Grange Profile, this is why the support of the families in this specific pillar is so necessary.

In order to align our concepts, wording and activities  link  to  Service, two different focus groups got together last week. We had the pleasure to have the Head Girl Catalina Cariiillo and Head Boy Raimundo Gigoux in the meeting, so they talked  about what we understand as Service at School and shared experiences.

The first focus group took place on Tuesday, August 20th and involved Spirit of Service Delegates from  PK, Kinder, 1° , 2° and 4° Básico, and the second one took place on Thursday, 22nd and involved delegates from 3°, 5°, 6°, 7° and 8° Básico.

A very cordial conversation took place where several initiatives and agreements were discussed and shared with all the groups to “form young people trustworthy and useful to society”.

Our next step is to take this to different classes, discuss them and make the “road map” to achieve our goals.
