At Leavers’ Assembly, we celebrated the 2nd Básicos as they marked their final assembly in Lower Prep and prepared to move up to Upper Prep. The 1st Básicos sang the Leavers’ Song as the older children exited the chapel, walking through a special tunnel created by the Lower Prep teachers. It was a heartfelt moment of farewell and good wishes for their next chapter. We also took the opportunity to congratulate the 1st Básicos for their hard work throughout the year and wished them the best as they step into the role of the oldest children in Lower Prep next year.

Sharing your learning journey, laughing and growing
And now off to Upper Prep, you are going
As a 2nd Básico team, you have been a blast  
Taking up all the opportunities you have been given to collaborate and learning so fast
We’ve watched each one of you grow into the person that you are
You´ve learnt so many things …. we know that each one of you will go far
It has been a year to remember, highlighted by your end of year show
Our work is done – you are ready to go
The 2nd Básico of 2024 will hold a special place in our hearts
Especially for the courage and resilience you have shown from the start
You are moving not so far away, to somewhere a little new
Filled with the confidence and skills you have built, which we know will see you through
With all you have learnt and in everything you do
You leave with our love and fond memories of you
Hold onto the memories we have shared
Remember all the good times and all the staff who care
