Mr Eatough joined The Grange School as Headmaster in January 2022. He arrived in Chile from Marlborough College, Malaysia, where he lived and worked between August 2015 and January 2022. Mr Eatough was Head of the Senior School at Marlborough, having first joined as Deputy Head (Pastoral and Co-curricular) in a role which saw him working with systems across the Prep and Senior age range. Mr Eatough has gained considerable experience in the Academic, Pastoral and Co-curricular lives of the schools in which he has worked over the past twenty-five years. Before his move overseas, he was previously both a Housemaster and Head of History at Millfield, one of the UK’s celebrated independent boarding schools, where he taught between 2008 and 2015. Before that, he held the post of Head of History at the Windsor Boys’ School while also leading one of its eight Houses. In the early part of his career, Mr Eatough taught at New College School, a prestigious Prep school in central Oxford. His original impetus to join the teaching profession resulted from graduate work experience gained at Eton College and St. George’s School in Windsor Castle. A UCL history graduate, Mr Eatough holds a Postgraduate Certificate in Education and a Masters’ Degree in History. When not at work, Mr Eatough is a keen amateur chef, cricketer, and avid supporter of many sporting events. Mr Eatough is joined at the Grange by his wife, Alison, and they have two teenage children, Imogen and Tobias
