Miss Myriam was born in Valdivia and grew up in Osorno. Studied Prep education at the Colegio Alemán in Osorno and the Senior education at the Santa Marta School. Obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Education with a Mention in Mathematics from the Universidad de Concepción with academic distinction in 1993. She began her career as a teacher at the Colegio Windsor in Valdivia. Then, when moved to live in Santiago, she worked at the San José de Maipú professional technical high school.

Myriam joined The Grange School in March 1995 as a Senior School teacher. She assumed course leadership between 1998 and 2007. In 2003 she was appointed Deputy Head of the Senior Mathematics Department and in 2008 became Head. Obtained a master’s degree in Quality School Management from the Universidad del Desarrollo in 2010. In 2013 she was appointed Deputy Head Academic of the Senior School, a position that holds to this day as part of the Management Team of the School (SMT).

Miss Myriam is married and is the mother of three children. She likes to cook, especially sweet things. Fond of puzzles, painting utilitarian ceramic items, weaving and embroidery. Enjoy free time with her family at home or in secluded places in southern Chile enjoying nature and the outdoors.
