Dear Grange Community,

On behalf of the Royal British Legion I would like to thank you for your significant contribution to the Legion´s Poppy appeal fund raising initiative . The Legion in Santiago has two main drives in its overall objectives . One is ” Remembrance “, and the conviction that , as a society , we must honor and remember those that bravely volunteered and were willing to give their lives for the values and freedoms we can today enjoy. As in Kohima Epitaph´s memorial 

“When you go home , tell them of us and say… For your tomorrow we gave our today”. The Grange Community does this brilliantly in their annual armistice ceremony built around those that volunteered  in WW2.

Our second drive is supporting aged service men and women in need along with their closer family . To do this , the poppy appeal is a fundamental element of our fund raising and in this The Grange plays a significant role to which we are very grateful. Each year The Grange community takes on the challenge and responds brilliantly, something you must be very proud of.

A big thanks to all and congratulations for your energy and  commitment in this initiative .
