Pupils in 1°D and 1°E had a very special guest last week: Dr Gareth Andrews from Australia, one of the very few people that have crossed the Antarctic Continent by foot. 

The children listened attentively to the inspiring stories of the 66 day expedition, 2.000 km walk/ski across the ice, carrying 2 sleds of food and equipment that weighed over 160 kilograms. 

Their faces, questions and interest were fantastic, while they interacted with our guest, which shows how these types of experiences can make a difference in their lives. “Dream Big“, said Dr Andrews, “nothing is impossible”.
