Dear Parents,
As we come to the end of another busy and rewarding year in Lower Prep, we would like to say thank you to everyone who has helped make this year such a special one for us.
Firstly, our sincere thanks go to our fantastic staff team – each and everyone who makes Lower Prep a happy place to be. Your dedication, care, enthusiasm and professionalism have given our children so many opportunities to experience the joy of learning. You have not only taught our school values of empathy, honesty, humility, loyalty, compassion and respect, but lived them every single day. The impact that all of this has had on our children is truly remarkable, and we are incredibly grateful for all that you do.
Also thank you to our parents and families, for your continued support, partnership and trust. Your encouragement at home and your involvement in Lower Prep life play such an important role in your children’s happiness and success. We really could not do this without you, and we appreciate you more than we can say.
And to our Lower Prep children – what an absolute joy you have been. Your enthusiasm, kindness, warmth, positive mindset and resilience have filled our classrooms with energy and pride. This year has been enriched by so many special moments and experiences, including visits from real animals and amphibians, a vibrant and inspiring Book Week, and our first whole Lower Prep Remembrance Assembly, which was both moving and truly memorable. We also enjoyed our 1° Básico Country Fair, a special visit from the British Ambassador, engaging STEM projects, a delightful tea party, contributions from so many parents and Old Grangonians and so many other experiences that brought learning to life and have helped create lasting memories.
We also celebrated the culmination of our 2° Básico’s journey in Lower Prep with the 2° Básico show and leavers’ assembly. These events marked an important milestone and were a wonderful celebration of growth, achievement and confidence.
This year also brings a fond farewell. We say goodbye, with the biggest thank you imaginable, to Miss Coni Morán, our Prekinder and Kinder Psychologist, who is retiring after an incredible 35 years of dedicated service to The Grange. Her commitment, care and lasting impact on generations of children will never be forgotten. Miss Coni, we thank you sincerely for everything you have given to our school community and wish you a long, happy and very well-deserved retirement.
On behalf of the whole Lower Prep team, we would also like to thank you for the heartfelt letters, kind words, warm wishes and generous gifts we have received. They have meant so much to us all.
As the year comes to an end, we wish you and your families a wonderful summer filled with rest, laughter and special moments together. We would also like to take this opportunity to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a happy, healthy New Year.

Al llegar al final de otro año intenso y gratificante en Lower Prep, queremos expresar nuestro más sincero agradecimiento a todas las personas que han contribuido a que este haya sido un año tan especial para nuestra Comunidad.
En primer lugar, nuestro profundo agradecimiento a nuestro extraordinario equipo de colaboradores: cada uno de ustedes, que hace de Lower Prep un lugar feliz para estar. Su dedicación, cuidado, entusiasmo y profesionalismo han brindado a nuestros niños innumerables oportunidades para experimentar la alegría de aprender. No solo han enseñado los valores de nuestro Colegio; empatía; honestidad; humildad; lealtad; compasión y respeto, sino que los han vivido día a día. El impacto de todo esto en nuestros alumnos ha sido verdaderamente notable, y les estamos inmensamente agradecidos por todo lo que hacen.
Asimismo, agradecemos a nuestros apoderados y familias por su continuo apoyo, colaboración y confianza. Su acompañamiento en el hogar y su participación en la vida de Lower Prep cumplen un rol fundamental en la felicidad y el éxito de sus hijos. Realmente no podríamos hacerlo sin ustedes, y valoramos profundamente su compromiso.
Y a nuestros alumnos de Lower Prep: ha sido un verdadero privilegio acompañarlos. Su entusiasmo, amabilidad, calidez, actitud positiva y resiliencia han llenado nuestras salas de clases de energía y orgullo. Este año se ha visto enriquecido por numerosos momentos y experiencias especiales, entre ellos visitas de animales y anfibios reales, una vibrante e inspiradora Book Week y nuestra primera Asamblea Conmemorativa de Lower Prep, que fue profundamente emotiva y memorable. También, disfrutamos de nuestra primera Country Fair de 1° Básico, una visita muy especial del Embajador Británico, desafiantes proyectos STEM, una encantadora tea party, valiosas contribuciones de muchos apoderados y Old Grangonians, así como muchas otras experiencias que dieron vida al aprendizaje y ayudaron a crear recuerdos duraderos.
Asimismo, celebramos la culminación del recorrido de nuestros alumnos de 2° Básico en Lower Prep con el show de 2° Básico y la ceremonia de despedida. Estas instancias marcaron un hito importante y fueron una hermosa celebración del crecimiento, los logros y la confianza alcanzada.
Este año también nos invita a una despedida muy especial. Decimos adiós, con el más profundo agradecimiento, a Miss Coni Morán, nuestra psicóloga de Prekinder y Kinder, quien se retira tras 35 increíbles años de dedicado servicio a The Grange School. Su compromiso, cuidado y el impacto duradero que ha tenido en generaciones de niños jamás serán olvidados. Miss Coni, le agradecemos sinceramente todo lo que ha entregado a nuestra comunidad escolar y le deseamos una larga, feliz y muy merecida jubilación.
En nombre de todo el equipo de Lower Prep, también queremos agradecerles por las emotivas cartas, las amables palabras, los buenos deseos y los generosos obsequios que hemos recibido. Han significado mucho para todos nosotros.
Al cerrar este año, les deseamos a ustedes y a sus familias unas maravillosas vacaciones de verano, llenas de descanso, risas y momentos especiales compartidos. Aprovechamos también esta oportunidad para desearles una muy Feliz Navidad y un próspero, saludable y feliz Año Nuevo.
