The Centenary Library is a milestone project for The Grange School, honouring our founder and positioning the library at the very heart of learning.

The new building visually connects the Senior School and Upper Prep Quads through its expansive windows, communicating a sense of unity to Upper Prep pupils and reinforcing their place within the Community. Light is the protagonist here, providing a sense of spaciousness and modernity that draws readers in. The library houses a rich collection of fiction, nonfiction, and picture books, inviting pupils to explore diverse topics and imagine incredible worlds.

This makes it the perfect setting for our Reading Programme. Once a week, all Upper Prep classes visit the library with their English and Spanish teachers to engage with books in both languages and borrow titles to enjoy at home. Additionally, the library is a popular destination during breaks, allowing pupils to visit independently, discover new interests, and enjoy the space.

Finally, this wonderful space is not complete without its Community. We rely on our pupils, teachers, families, and Staff to be actively involved in reading, sharing the space respectfully, and caring for the furniture and books.
