Estimada Comunidad:

Junto con saludar, nuevamente nos vemos en la necesidad de solicitar su colaboración respecto del respeto por las normas de tránsito y la convivencia con nuestros vecinos en los alrededores del Colegio.

Durante las últimas semanas hemos recibido diversos reclamos relacionados con vehículos estacionados o detenidos bloqueando accesos a viviendas, entradas vehiculares y pasajes privados, así como otras conductas que dificultan el desplazamiento de los residentes del sector.

Como Colegio y Asociación de Padres y Apoderados consideramos que estas situaciones son inaceptables, aunque ocurran por períodos breves de tiempo. Ninguna circunstancia justifica impedir el acceso a una vivienda o afectar a terceros.

Asimismo, queremos recordar que recientemente las autoridades municipales actualizaron la señalética en la intersección de Nocedal con Monseñor Edwards, estableciendo la prohibición de ingreso vehicular a calle Nocedal en dirección poniente entre las 07:00 y 09:00 horas y entre las 13:00 y 15:30 horas, en dirección hacia Calle John Jackson. Esta medida busca contribuir a una circulación más segura y ordenada durante los horarios de mayor flujo vehicular.

Lamentablemente, hemos constatado que esta restricción no siempre está siendo respetada, por lo que solicitamos a toda nuestra comunidad cumplir con la señalética y las disposiciones de tránsito vigentes.

Durante este año, el Colegio y la Asociación de Padres y Apoderados han trabajado activamente para mejorar la circulación en los horarios de ingreso y salida, manteniendo además una coordinación permanente con las autoridades correspondientes. Sin embargo, ninguna medida será efectiva sin el compromiso y la colaboración de todos.

Por ello, les recordamos especialmente la importancia de:

• Respetar toda la señalética y normativa de tránsito vigente.
• No bloquear accesos a viviendas, edificios, pasajes o entradas vehiculares.
• Evitar estacionar o detenerse en lugares no habilitados.
• Respetar los espacios privados y a las personas que viven en el entorno del Colegio.
• Seguir las indicaciones del personal del Colegio y de las autoridades cuando corresponda.

Finalmente, los invitamos a recordar que todos somos referentes para nuestros alumnos. El respeto, la responsabilidad y la buena convivencia se expresan también en nuestras acciones cotidianas fuera de las puertas del Colegio.

Cada una de nuestras acciones contribuye a la relación que construimos con nuestro entorno como comunidad educativa. Cuidemos juntos ese vínculo, actuando siempre con consideración y empatía hacia nuestros vecinos y hacia los demás miembros de nuestra propia comunidad, respetando las normas que nos permiten convivir de manera segura y armónica.

Dear Community,

We would once again like to ask for your cooperation regarding compliance with traffic regulations and respectful coexistence with our neighbours in the areas surrounding the School.

Over the past few weeks, we have received a number of complaints concerning vehicles parked or stopped in ways that block access to homes, driveways and private roads, as well as other behaviours that hinder the movement of local residents.

As a School and Parents’ Association, we consider these situations unacceptable, even when they occur for only a short period of time. No circumstance justifies preventing access to a home or negatively affecting others.

We would also like to remind you that local authorities have recently updated the road signage at the intersection of Nocedal and Monseñor Edwards, establishing a restriction on entering Nocedal Street westbound towards John Jackson Street between 7:00 and 9:00 a.m. and between 1:00 and 3:30 p.m. This measure aims to promote safer and more orderly traffic flow during peak hours.

Unfortunately, we have observed that this restriction is not always being respected. We therefore ask all members of our community to comply with the signage and all applicable traffic regulations.

Throughout this year, the School and the Parents’ Association have worked actively to improve traffic circulation during drop-off and pick-up times, while maintaining ongoing coordination with the relevant authorities. However, no measure will be fully effective without the commitment and cooperation of everyone involved.

We would therefore like to remind our community of the importance of:

• Respecting all traffic signs and regulations.
• Not blocking access to homes, buildings, private roads or driveways.
• Avoiding parking or stopping in unauthorised areas.
• Respecting private property and the people who live in the neighbourhood surrounding the School.
• Following the instructions of School staff and the relevant authorities when required.

Finally, we would like to remind you that we are all role models for our pupils. Respect, responsibility and positive coexistence are reflected not only within the School but also in our everyday actions beyond its gates.

Each of our actions contributes to the relationship we build with our surroundings as an educational community. Let us work together to nurture this relationship by always acting with consideration and empathy towards our neighbours and towards other members of our own community, while respecting the rules that allow us to live together safely and harmoniously.
