Last Tuesday, we were delighted to welcome three Old Grangonians from the Class of 2025 for an inspiring Careers Talk: “Successful applications to universities abroad”.

During the session, Fernanda Larraín (University of Miami), Lucia Benedetto (Emory University), and Joaquín Koch (University of Sydney) shared their personal experiences navigating the international university application process. They spoke about the challenges they faced, the strategies that helped them succeed, and the lessons they learned throughout their journey.

The talk provided pupils with valuable tips and guidance on applying to highly competitive universities overseas, helping them better understand the application process and what it takes to become a strong candidate. The session was interactive, with students engaging in an open conversation with our speakers, asking thoughtful questions and gaining practical advice.
