Anniversary of The Queen’s passing

Tomorrow marks one year since the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.

The late Queen died aged 96 on September 8th 2022, having reigned for 70 years, seven months and two days, making her the longest-reigning monarch in British history.

The one year anniversary since her passing will be honoured in the UK, Commonwealth and the world, with members of the public already paying their respects.

Queen Elizabeth II – accompanied by her husband and consort Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh – visited The Grange in 1968.

Her passing was a momentous moment for many. In the first year of the reign of HM Charles III, we give thanks for the life of the late Queen, a model of duty and all the values that embody our educational mission at The Grange.
