Joanna McCann joined The Grange School in February 2004 and has been Deputy Head Academic for the Lower Prep since 2014. From the second semester of 2024 Joanna was appointed as Head of Academic for Curriculum and Standards, a transversal SLT role for the whole School. Prior to her current position she was a form teacher in 3º Básico, Kinder and Prekinder, and also coordinated the Lower Prep Maths programme.
Joanna is originally from the UK and before moving to Chile was living and teaching in Edinburgh. She holds a maths degree from the University of St. Andrews, Scotland, a Postgraduate Certificate in Primary Education from the University of Edinburgh, and a Master’s Degree in Education, specialising in School Curriculum, from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, Santiago.
