Rebeca Aguilera Segura graduated from The Grange School in 1984.
After studying Primary Education at the Catholic University of Chile, she began her professional career at The Grange School.
From 1989 until 2008 she held different roles in the institution, being Head Teacher, Head of Department in The Preparatory and Middle School, Head of Colour, member of the Admissions Committee and iCoordinator of the Induction Process for new teachers from Chile and abroad.
Miss Rebeca Aguilera S. has a Masters Degree in Dirección y Gestión Escolar, a degree on Special Education and Educational Coach of Ontario Institute for Studies in Education, Toronto.
Her professional experience was strengthened by assuming positions of Director of Studies in schools in Santiago, University teaching in Pre and Post Graduate for Universidad Diego Portales, Universidad Finis Terrae, Universidad del Desarrollo, Consultant for MINEDUC and UMCE for pedagogical matters, member of the National Accreditation Committee for the evaluation of teaching careers at Chilean universities, Educational Consulting on institutional and pedagogical management and strategic planning for institutions in Chile and abroad.
As an academic and as a member of different management teams, her main motivation has been to generate professional competencies in teachers and middle managers that strengthen the academic and social learning of their pupils, and align teachers around the value of instructional leadership.
